We meet in the San Francisco Room, upstairs at South Street Arts Centre, 21 South Street, Reading, RG1 4QU on the first Tuesday of every month, from 7.30 - 9.30 pm. 

June 2014 news: Claire Dyer's running a workshop at Winchester Writers' Conference called 'Poetry into Prose' on 21st June with fellow novelist and poet, Kate Rhodes; Christine Webb now runs a regular monthly poetry reading group at her local library, with the theme of families in June, from Wordsworth inviting his sister for a walk to Pascale Petit remembering her mother; Andrew Curtis is on the management team of South Poetry Magazine which held the launch of South 49 at Chichester Library which was well supported and included readings by Wendy Klein, another Reading Stanza member; Wendy's on the shortlist for the Buxton prize and has just had two more poems accepted by Magma; Gill Learner's poetry's been widely published recently with poems in Acumen, Artemis, Mslexia, Poetry News, South, The Interpreter's House, Well-versed (the Morning Star website); and in two forthcoming anthologies: The Arts of Peace (Two Rivers Press), Blame Montezuma (poems about chocolate, HappenStance); Louise Ordish will be developing and running a workshop on nurturing creativity aimed at arts professionals form all disciplines, to run in October at the Newbury Corn Exchange.
